The challenge is set, 7 people to a team, each with the target of 10,000 steps a day for 16 weeks. If the team succeeds they will have amassed 5,824 km - covering greater distance than Melbourne to Perth return!

 Apart from the obvious health gains of the GCC, there event also supports several community initiatives:

The footprint initiative: Assists global communities groups by providing funds to purchase amenities and to service repairs within villages.

Global Children’s Challenge:  A health initiative designed to get children from all over the world active and instil in them the habit and importance of daily exercise for the rest of their lives.

Every person participating for NGA.NET enables a child to be sponsored within the schools program free of charge, helping combat childhood obesity.

NGA.NET has 2 teams in the GCC the Walkaholics and No Excuses.
